KYLE ARNESON
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Kyle Arneson is a professional freelance artist and model maker/miniature effects designer specializing in sets, props, and fabrication for stop-motion animation. His models also appear in live-action feature film customarily exploding after trying to kill famous actors. In addition to these mediums he has also contributed to commercials, music videos, television, print ads, art galleries, commercially sold 3D viewfinders and more. He has worked as a production designer, model maker, prop master and graphic designer for numerous studios in California with clients ranging from Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network to Warner Brothers and MTV.

Kyle studied philosophy at UCLA and is currently a graduate student of philosophy in Los Angeles. Despite this, or perhaps because of it, he ended up in the world of puppetry and miniatures. A balanced draw toward animation, architecture, design metaphysics, biology and neurophilosophy keep him in a state of constant existential torpor.

In the quieter moments, Kyle enjoys reading, composing music, drawing antiquated submarines and contemplating the disconcerting omnipresence of Phil Collins in the public sphere. He lives with his cat Spoony in Echo Park.
